Icons on Vista laptop auto arrange themselves

Not a major problem I grant you, but very annoying. I use the laptop (Vista Enterprise Edition)in a docking station with 2 external monitors. Upon reboot the icons auto arrange on the left side of monitor 1. I cant geet them to stay where I want them on the desktop. I have auto arrange off and align to grid on. Anyone?
