You Can Disable IE8 on Windows 7

It appears that the word around the blogosphere was right. For what I believe is the first time ever, you will be able to disable or remove Internet Explorer from Windows without any special 3rd party tools with Windows 7 and IE8.

Heres a list of some other newly removable applications for Windows 7
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Windows Media Player
  • Windows Media Center
  • Windows DVD Maker
  • Windows Search
  • Handwriting Recognition (through the Tablet PC Components option)
  • Windows Gadget Platform
  • Fax and Scan
  • XPS Viewer and Services (including the Virtual Print Driver)

Heres a link to an official MSDN blog post with more deails. :D
