Deleting all appointments in Outlook

Where I work some people have been let go. There accounts have been backed up and deleted from active directory. But there appointments they set are still on the other users calendars. How do I remove all appointments set by a "Organizer" so that these do not keep popping up. I cannot get on that users log in to delete them because the account in AD is gone.

Any suggestions?
