SEO ASP Page

I received a request from a client to do their site's SEO. The entire site is built on ASP. Can I simply take each ASP page on the site and optimize in terms of meta tags and H1 and all that good SEO stuff? Or am I missing something with this ASP?

I've never used ASP and I am just a bit weary of it to make sure it's not something that I am completely unaware of. As far as I can tell looking at the code, I can just make my HTML edits as need be and just reupload the page.

Any insight would be much appreciated!
